I wanted to bring a Vietnamese colleague for dinner and she mentioned Ba Kut Teh. So, I searched for shops along the way back to her home and found one. A1 Ba Kut Teh. This was how I found this place.
First up is the ba kut teh soup. It is a good herbal soup. The meat is also very tender and can see they know how to cook their meat so that it’s soft and tender. The below is a portion for one which I think is okay. You will have you char koay and rice anyway. Plus you will ask for a soup refill too.

Second one is highlight. Their must-order kang kung dish. It’s delicious and kang kung is also not old too. Taste is just right and not overwhelming. I would say this is one of the better kang kung dishes I have tasted for some time.

Third is their dry ba kut teh. Okay this one is just okay. If you like dry ba kut teh, can also order. I did not see dry chilli and other ingredients.

Last is tau foo pok. Tau Foo Pok is what it means yeah. Nice as an addition to your ba kut teh.

Overall: I have tasted better and worse ba kut teh. This one is the middle. If you are nearby, it’s worth to drop by.
